When your glass bottle is almost finished, simply go online and order a refill pouch in the ritual you want to try – you may want to stick with your favourite or try something new. When you receive your refill pouch, wash the glass bottle and pump thoroughly with warm water and leave it to dry. Once your glass bottle is dry, replace the labels and fill it up! The refill pouches use at least 60% less plastic then plastic bottles. You can then either post the pouch back to us to reuse or put the pouch in the recycling. Remember to select an option on the check out if you need a return envelop to put our pouch in. 

We’re glad you asked because we’ve thought of that too! Once you’ve received your refill pouch, all you need to do is fill up your beautiful glass bottle and then send it right back to us. We will provide a return envelop with our order. Once it’s back, we’ll carefully clean it, sanitise it and re-use for the next order. We will reuse the plastic pouch as many times as possible, while is structurally sound and safe to you. We’re passionate about reducing plastic waste which is why our pouches get many, many uses. 

Of course, there is some element of waste (packaging, postage material). Also, not all clients return the pouches back, and if you choose to just recycle yours, we absolutely understand. Between using glass bottles and refill pouches we are already ahead of the beauty market standard when it comes to producing plastic waste. At Luxury Bath Co., we know that you want your products as quickly as possible! We dispatch your order within 1-3 working days and you’ll receive a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your order until it arrives at your door. Once your order is processed, we can’t change the information so check all of your details carefully. We offer shipping only within Australia with a flat fee charge of $10.50 to anywhere in Australia. We offer free shipping for orders over $75. 

This is a consideration for every online company and we understand that there are concerns about the potential impact that comes with shipping products. However, the world of online shopping is only growing and there is no easy solution. At Luxury Bath Co, we’re passionate about reducing our impact on the environment through the reduction of plastic waste and we believe our approach will have a long term positive impact on the environment. We’re also making efforts to reduce the impact of delivery by using Sendle, which is a carbon neutral delivery company for all inner city deliveries. We use Australian Post for all rural and remote locations.

The products in our range are around 99% natural, which is ahead of what the general market refers to as ‘natural’. Our products also contained more natural ingredients than most conventional products. In order to produce high quality body and hair products, we’ve included some non-natural ingredients for the best bathing ritual experience possible for our customers. However, these ingredients are kept to a minimum and are environmentally friendly and cruelty-free. We also use minimal preservatives which are totally safe. For example, phenoxyethanol, which is included in many of our products, is a widely used synthetic preservative which has global approval.

While we understand that there are some benefits that come of organic products, there’s no evidence that organic products are better for your skin or hair. Also, organic products often have a shorter shelf life and are more expensive to produce – this generally means that consumers are required to pay more. Australia has no government standards to set the benchmark for organic products and a product being organic does not automatically mean that it’s superior quality. There are also certain products which lose efficacy if they were to be certified 95% organic, such as hair and body washes, as organic detergents aren’t available. At Luxury Bath Co., we’re passionate about providing high quality, natural and simple products which our customers will love using and for this reason we don’t focus on producing certified organic products.
